Volleyball Tourney to Serve Up Support for Mental Health

The second annual Grass Volleyball Tournament is returning to St. Germain Community Park this weekend, June 14-15, to raise funds for the National Alliance on Mental Health.

Hosted by Northern Extreme Volleyball, the weekend will feature men's triples and women's triples on Saturday, followed by Co-Ed Quads on Sunday. Divisions A and B will play both days.

The organization, run by coach and founder Julie Smith, aims to ignite a love of volleyball for all ages, levels and abilities.

Attendees who aren't playing are invited to cheer on the athletes, and enjoy the food, beer, music and fun slated to take place all weekend.
