Tickets on Sale to Support Children's Museum Building Project

The Northwoods Children's Museum in Eagle River has a limited number of tickets available for its first in-person fundraiser in five years on Monday, June 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Riverstone Brewing Company.

The Play It Forward Fundraiser Event will offer up raffle baskets, a silent auction, cash games, prizes, a 50-50 raffle, and heavy hors d'oeurves for guests, along with a full cash bar in an effort to raise funds for much-needed building upgrades and future exhibit expansions.

With a limited ticket number of only 65 for this exclusive night out, attendees will have the chance to take home one of the silent auction prizes donated by local businesses which include hotel stays at Chanticleer Inn, Eagle River Inn, and the Waters of Minocqua; an e-bike from Laketime Management; a cordless drill kit from Waldmann Construction; and other items donated by local businesses.

Also up for auction will be domestic and international vacations through the museum's partnership with AmFund which include airfare, 4-star accommodations, and options to add extra travelers or extend the length of the trip. Vacation locations include Scotland, Greece, Portugal, and the Sedona Arizona Spa. Fundraiser organizers note that there is a three-year window with no black-out dates to use these vacations.

Funds raised during the event will help support the museum's $600,000 expansion project.

Tickets cost $65 and can be purchased by calling the museum at 715-479-4623.
