Three Lakes Parade Draws Big Crowds for 9 a.m. Start

Independence Day celebrations got an early start on July 4 in Three Lakes, with the annual pancake breakfast starting at 7 a.m. at the school, followed by the parade at 9 a.m. Northern Lights Snowmobile Club, Lindy's Swamp Witch and other groups and businesses brought their creativity to the parade with decorated floats, while students at Three Lakes School District and Rhinelander's marching band also turned out to celebrate the holiday. Festivities continued with live music and events at Don Burnside Park, an Aqua Devils Waterski Show, and fireworks into the evening.
