The Phelps Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the 2025 Phelps July 4 Parade grand marshal to lead the annual parade through downtown Phelps. This is an honorary role for the community to show appreciation and give thanks to someone who has made meaningful contributions and made an impact on the Phelps community.

"Nominations are open to all, you do not have to be a Phelps resident to nominate someone. Think of a person, a couple, or a small group of people who have made a real impact on the community and deserve recognition," said Phelps Chamber Executive Director Laura Richart.

The 2024 grand marshals were Andy Regenfuss, Jeremy Ryan, Robbie Anderson, Damian Seals and Sean Murphy — a group of Phelps Fire Department members who heroically rescued a man who had fallen through the ice on South Twin Lake in March 2024.

The nomination form can be found on the Phelps Chamber website homepage at phelpswi.us or on the Phelps Wisconsin Facebook page. Nominations are open until Tuesday, June 17. The Phelps Chamber of Commerce Board will then review all nominations and select their top choice, and the grand marshal will then be announced once the role has been offered and accepted.
