Nicolet Invites Aviation Enthusiasts to Largest Worldwide Airshow
Members of the public who are interested in airplanes, or have dreamed of attending the largest airshow and aviation event in the world, have the chance to do so this July. Nicolet College invites aviation enthusiasts for an exciting day at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh on Wednesday, July 23.
"Attending EAA AirVenture is a dream come true for any aviation enthusiast,” said Curt Drumm, aviation instructor at Nicolet College. “People travel from around the world to attend ‘Oshkosh,’ as it's affectionately called. For many, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We're lucky to have it right in our own backyard."
This trip offers a unique opportunity to see thousands of aircraft from the latest military technology to vintage World War II airplanes, experience the air show, and learn from the best in the industry. "We're thrilled to offer this opportunity and can't wait to share this experience with our community."
Nicolet College has reserved a 56-passenger Deluxe Motorcoach, operated by Lamers Bus Lines. The bus is equipped with air conditioning, restrooms, and Wi-Fi service to ensure a comfortable journey. The cost for this round-trip transportation is $50 per person, which includes all parking fees, and cold water. Guests are invited to bring snacks or beverages along.
It should be noted that EAA AirVenture admission is not included in the price. Tickets may be purchased at the gate or online at eaa.org/airventure. Children 18 and younger are admitted to EAA free of charge.
Reservations for the bus are open to the public and will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. To learn more about aviation at Nicolet, or to register for the bus, visit nicoletcollege.edu/aviation.
