Model Contest and Swap Meet this Saturday

Northwoods Scale Model Phanatics will present the 11th annual Spring in the Pines model contest and swap meet this Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the World Championship Derby Complex.

Modelers will have their creations of miniature cars, trucks, ships, aircraft and war machines on display for the public to look at throughout the day, and judging will take place from noon to 3 p.m. There also will be a large raffle and swap meet on site.

This event is free to the public.
