Annual Chain of Lakes Meeting Slated for July 27
Members of the public are invited to learn about important lake-related topics during the upcoming Eagle River Chain of Lakes Association (ERCLA) Board of Directors' annual membership and educational event.
The meeting, scheduled for Sunday, July 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Braywood, located at 4109 Braywood Lane in Eagle River, will include the election of directors, a review of the past year, and three keynote speakers.
Sharing their knowledge with guests will be a Vilas County conservationist who will address the Chain's lake ecology, a Wisconsin DNR fisheries biologist who will explain the fisheries population assessment for the Eagle River Chain, and a Vilas County Sheriff's deputy who will speak on boating safety. There also will be an open forum for questions and comments from ERCLA members.
Important presentations will be shared, including topics such as the U.S. Power Squadron with Dennis Schultz, Vilas County Land and Water Association with Tom Ewing, Trees for Tomorrow with Kim Feller, Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission with Riley Brooks, and more. Food and beverages will be available.
